Topic
Reflect on how your experiences, beliefs, and values might affect what you say to patients, and how you say it, in end-of-life communication.
Required Sections

- My initial thoughts and feelings on the topic
- How readings and class changed my perception. Be specific, and support this section with 1 scholarly reference.

- Your Self-Inventory score and paragraph
- The two “Delivering Bad News” videos (what not to do vs an excellent encounter)
- A specific step from nsg210-dd-breaking-bad-news Ten Steps
- A communication moment from your med-surg clinical patient

The handouts cite peer-reviewed articles that would qualify. Check that you can access the full text before citing one:

A recent nursing journal article on end-of-life communication would be a stronger choice if the faculty prefers sources from the last 5 years.
